Contemporary American Football Art. ‘Q-Bee’ See video demonstration.

Contemporary American football art

NOT FOR SALE.

This piece was painted on 09-06-2010 in my studio using acrylic paint on paper. If you’ve followed my blog for a while then you know I enjoy using reject paintings for the majority of my work. It’s one reason why I rarely get frustrated when a painting doesn’t turn out because I know it will end up back on the easel one day.

What subject could be more appropriate for today than football since the season kicks off tonight. Which reminds me I need to make a trip to the grocery store and load up on the chips and dip. Football players make for interesting subjects with all the colorful uniforms and action. Look for more of these in the near future.  Also keep in mind I can furnish commission paintings with your favorite team and player in mind.

I’ve included a video demonstration so sit back and relax as I paint this piece from start to finish. If you don’t see the video in your browser click here.

Thanks for stopping by and I’ll see you back here tomorrow.
