I decided to go smaller on this expressive horse painting which measures 11″ x 15″. It’s a combination of acrylic paint and ink on archival paper and is sold unframed. Every now and again I’ll get in a rut with my painting and changing subjects, medium and sizes are all useful tools to snap out of it. The horses vimeo gives me much inspiration to paint other animals too.
It is a pitty that I can’t see the picture reference from the horse, because I want to learn loose paintings
May I ask you to make vimeo’s from racing horses with the picture.
Than I can see better the translation of the picture into the painting.
