How To Finish A Painting. ‘Part 2′

What You’ll Discover In This Painting Tutorial

This two part series is designed to give you some guidance to the painting process. It’s helpful to know what stage you’re at while painting. By doing so, you’ll have more success finishing your artwork.

In Part 1 of this series, ‘How To Block In A Painting’,  I revealed some tips on how to get your painting off the ground. If you didn’t see ‘Part 1′, now is a great time to catch-up before you watch ‘Part 2′. Here’s what you’ll learn in ‘Part 2′.

  • How to refine your shapes
  • Building up the painting, thus adding interest and depth to the overall aesthetic value
  • Finally, adding the finishing touches

Hope the series gave you some practical solutions for your painting process. If you enjoyed the tutorials, please be sure to share them with your fellow artists and friends.
