Carnival Cruise Commission - Restaurant Art

Carnival Cruise Commission Details

This Carnival Cruise commission featuring two large cow paintings for their high-end restaurants 555 Fahrenheit Steakhouse. The paintings will be the main focal point in the dining area. The first commission will be hung on the 'Sunshine' cruise liner which is currently being overhauled. It's scheduled to launch in early April 2013 and will be sailing out of New Orleans. I will also furnish a similar commission for the cruise ship 'Breeze'.

The restaurants criteria for the art was to select a cow painting that symbolized masculinity which is common in todays steakhouses and suggest the care and importance of selecting quality, well raised beef. Stylistically it needs to be somewhat abstract with a bold appearance.

I think they made the right choice by selecting my distinguished cow art. I look forward to working with Carnival Cruise Lines and 555 Fahrenheit Steakhouse.
