Painting Albert Einstein Details

This mixed media painting of Albert Einstein is created with acrylics, inks and crayon on archival paper. Color was my focus with this piece once the painting was underway. Somedays I see color more than others and it becomes my motivation versus the actual subject. This is when I'm at my best because I tend to not worry about the overall composition and I relax with my medium. I would love to find this zone every day but impossible to do.

I have to pint out the scribble of aqua blue crayon and how it really adds to the aesthetics. Well that and the deluge of color. Einstein has such character in hid face and fascinates me as a subject. I wonder how many artists feel the same way?

Thanks for having a look and hope you enjoyed the painting.
