Why I Moved Classes To SkillShare

In October of 2016 I made a decision to discontinue PaintLoose and move my classes to SkillShare. As many of you know it was a tough decision but in the end I felt it was the right thing to do. The change was made for the following reasons:

More Exposure To Other Teachers - The beauty of SkillShare is it's community and business model. The site offers thousands of quality creative courses that cover a variety of mediums such as acrylics, oils, watercolor, Illustrator, and much more. There are thousands of fantastic teachers that create some amazing classes and it's just hard to beat. Users have the opportunity to watch any class once they sign up. A great deal.

More Classes - As mentioned earlier there are thousands of classes and more are added daily. When you sign up you have access to all classes. This variety can only benefit any creative that wants to expand on their knowledge.

User Experience - The platform is streamlined and very user-friendly. Plus each class offers an assignment which holds you accountable. Your assignment is posted in the community section which is a fantastic resource for showing off your work and finding inspiration from others.

Affordability - Skillshare pricing is the best out there. At the time of this post it's $10/month. Wow! For that price you get my classes plus all the other lessons offered. Just can't beat that and I feel this is a much better deal for the user. To get started you can sign up for 99¢ for the first 30 days.

Conclusion - With all the classes, variety & affordability Skillshare has to offer I felt it was a far better experience and opportunity for you. Although PaintLoose was a success I felt the lessons needed a larger audience & Skillshare makes this possible with millions of students eager to learn. Basically a win-win for everyone.
