Tips for painting abstract expressive flowers with acrylic and collage

Here's a fantastic video demonstration where I will share tips for painting abstract expressive flowers using acrylic and collage. You will learn various ideas for using color, values, loose brushwork and a whole lot more. The demo is intended for experienced artists but if you're a beginner I still encourage you to give it a look for inspiration.

The video will give you a step-by-step breakdown of how I approach the simple still life and combining collage with acrylics. It's a lot of fun to work with mixed media but one can easily over-do it. Overpainting is a common issue so I recommend you have a vision, or create a solid value study before getting to the finished painting. This will help guide you along the way especially if you're new to acrylics and collage.
